The BYD battery storage pairs perfectly with the Fronius Hybrid Inverter giving clients a number of options. The BYD Battery-Box Premium HVS and HVM are modular high voltage lithium iron phosphate (LFP) battery packs for use with an external inverter.
Battery-Box Premium HVS - One Battery-Box Premium HVS is composed of 2 to 3 HVS battery modules, together with a BCU and Base, that are connected in series to achieve a usable capacity of 5.12 to 7.68 kWh. Additionally, direct parallel connection of up to 3 identical Battery-Box Premium HVS allows a maximum capacity of 23.04 kWh
Battery-Box Premium HVM - One Battery-Box is composed of 4 to 7 HVM battery modules, together with a BCU and Base, that are connected in series to achieve a usable capacity of 11.04 to 19.32 kWh. Additionally, direct parallel connection of up to 3 identical Battery-Box Premium HVM allows a maximum capacity of 57.96 kWh.
The BYD Battery is designed to be modular and a battery can be added to the system at any point. This is carried out by one of our commissioning team who will attend and re-commission the system.
The Battery Modules HVS and HVM are the same size and identical in appearance. Their dimension is 585mm width, 235mm height, 298mm in depth.
The BYD Battery-Box has a depth of discharge of 95%.

The BYD Battery-Box Premium meets some of the highest global safety standards including VDE 2510-50. The German energy storage system standard VDE-AR-E2510-50 is the strictest safety standard in the energy storage industry.
The HVS Battery has a nominal voltage of 102v and is 2.56kWh of capacity. The battery bank begins with a minimum of 2 x 2.56kWh modules (5.14kWh) and stacks at a maximum of 3 modules (7.68kWh) modules. The battery can then be connected via a BYD Combiner box for a maximum of 3 stacks which totals 23.04kWh.
The HVM has a nominal voltage of 51v and is 2.76kWh of capacity. The battery bank begins with a minimum of 4 x 2.76kWh modules (11.04kWh) and stacks at a maximum of 7 modules (19.32kWh) single phase, or 8 modules (22.08kWh) 3 phase. The battery can then be connected via a BYD Combiner box for a maximum of 3 stacks which totals 57.96kWh single phase and 66.24kWh 3 phase.
