"Backup power for every situation"

A reliable energy supply. The Fronius GEN24 offers just that with an integrated basic backup power function, the PV Point. With the Fronius GEN24 Plus, you can choose between the PV Point and the Full Backup option, which provides backup power for the entire home.

"Built-in freedom"

The Fronius GEN24 Plus has an open interface. This makes it easy to integrate components from Fronius or third-party suppliers for a tailor-made photovoltaic system.

"Versatility as standard"

More functions. More control. More power. Thanks to their energy management functions, the Fronius GEN24 Plus continuously saves time and money. What’s more, the integrated active cooling extends the service life of the inverter, protecting your investment for many years to come.

Maximum independence

By combining the Fronius GEN24 Plus with a battery, you can get even more out of your photovoltaic system, even at night. Use more of your own electricity and become more independent of electricity providers and prices.

FAQs

What is a Hybrid Inverter?

A Hybrid Inverter has the connectivity and ability to connect to a DC battery bank.
The advanced technology automatically communicates with your consumption profile of your property. This allows you to get more out of your solar system and utilise the battery power at night. Additionally, in Winter months you have the choice to operate the battery management and utilise time of use charging on an intelligent electricity tariff.

What size Hybrid Inverter will I need?

Firstly the Hybrid Inverter is sized for the DC input from the solar array, secondly the charge and discharge rate is effected as you increase the inverter sizing. Consideration is taken into account for your design carefully and we can discuss this in depth for your project.

What is the Warranty on a Fronius Hybrid Inverter?

The standard warranty is 10 years. Extended warranty is available for 15 years and 20 years. The Hybrid Inverter must be within it's warranty period to be able to extend the warranty. This must be applied for through your Fronius Service Partner (FSP).

Will my Hybrid Inverter get Hot?

As temperatures rise, the challenges for inverters and PV systems in general increase. High ambient temperatures have a direct influence on the performance and service life. The Hybrid Inverter relies on active cooling technology, which keeps the inverter’s power electronics at a constantly low temperature. This increases performance and increases the service life of the GEN24 Hybrid Inverter.

Where can I have my Hybrid Inverter installed?

As a company we assess each site carefully, most inverters are located in cellars, garages or utility rooms. The loft is not a location for inverters and batteries to be installed..
